Michael Webster is a professional accountant (C.M.A.), with over 35 years of experience in the Industrial, Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution/Supply chain Management sectors. Michael’s expertise includes Financial Analysis and Accounting having been tasked with providing management with an in depth analysis of the most recent results. “I have spent pretty much all of my career “drilling down” on the numbers to assist in determining what did happen, why it happened, what improvements can be made, how they can be made, and what can be expected from those changes.”

Mike is responsible for tracking and analyzing each of the securities we own throughout our client portfolios. The “Nelson Approach” includes tracking 57 different market indices in Canada and around the world, the entry and exit points on over 30 annual higher probability seasonal trades, and over 120 different sector specific indices each based on our proprietary 6 point security analysis scale. Mike evaluates the research provided by several different firms so as to help identify those investments best suited for our client accounts. Mike and Doug meet weekly to review changes to each of these indices, review changes to each of our investment holdings and to develop a pro-active investment game plan for the coming weeks. Mike’s expertise enables the Nelson Approach to be both very broad and very deep when analyzing a wide range of investment options. All investment decisions are made by Doug Nelson.
